Golden Ace Awards and Cash Prizes
 This year's festival will see over $15,000 in total cash and prizes given away to the winning filmmakers and screenwriters. Juried and audience awards are given in several categories to celebrate achievements in filmmaking, screenwriting and acting. Cash prizes are awarded for the Grand Jury Prize, presented to the best film in competition among all categories, and the Best Short Film, as determined by a jury of industry professionals.
The top three prize winners in the screenplay competition also receive cash prizes.
In addition, top winners in each competitive category will receive various software packages from Sony Creative Software including Vegas Pro 8, Cinescore, Sound Forge, and SFX 1-10.
The top 12 best of category winners will also receive free Quick Film Budget software. Whether you're a professional screenwriter, director, producer, or first-timer looking to break in, Quick Film Budget will enable you to create a film budget of any size from micro-budgets to studio size franchises.
